No this post is not about my dreamy trip to Ipanema where I vacationed like a hallmark main character and made life long connections there, its about how much I want that to happen and why Ipanema.

Fashionable Ipanema is known for its iconic namesake beach, which draws a diverse crowd for sunbathing and socializing. This district in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is for sure a bucket list beach. The district on the south of the city with it's top restaurants, amazing beach, and extraordinary beach makes it the most expensive area of Rio de Janeiro forming a first class holiday destination.
"Ipanema is a neighborhood with a dynamic life, where trends are launched. A neighborhood of beautiful, young, cool people"
Ipanema is sandwiched between the famous Copacabana, separated by Arpoador Beach. It is flanked by the Atlantic Ocean to one side, and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon and tropical rainforest to the other. Mountains and the famed Christ the Redeemer statue watch over the south coast. Ipanema borders the Leblon neighborhood to the West at the Canal do Jardim de Alah, and Copacabana to east.
Perhaps best known worldwide from the 1960s jazz song "The Girl From Ipanema", the neighborhood of Rio is among the city's most desirable and lively area.
"Ipanema is a neighborhood with a dynamic life, where trends are launched. A neighborhood of beautiful, young, cool people" expresses a tourist.
People go to the beach to surf, grab a coconut from a kiosk on the sand, play volleyball or people watch. There are dozens of hip restaurants and bars in the area, and everything is easily walkable and for me, this is what makes #Ipanema a #bucketlist #travel.
